A family fun run that takes you up Riverside Avenue to Williams Street and back in Marinette.

When: Saturday, August 1, 2009 -9am

*Starting and ending at Stephenson Library ~ Marinette                                                                           

     THE "RAINBOW RUN" IS A 2-MILE NON-COMPETITIVE RUN/WALK EVENT STARTING NEAR THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE STEPHENSON PUBLIC LIBRARY.  THE RUN/WALK WILL PROCEED DOWN RIVERSIDE AVENUE TO TWO BLOCKS BEFORE KIMBERLY CLARK PAPER MILL             ( WILLIAMS STREET ).  AT THAT POINT THE PARTICIPANTS WILL CROSS OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE OF RIVERSIDE AVENUE AND CONTINUE BACK TO THE LIBRARY.  ALL AGES ARE WELCOME ~ FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN MAY BRING BIKES, WAGONS, STROLLERS, ETC. NO PETS PLEASE !
 
THE COST IS $8 FOR AN INDIVIDUAL AND $15 FOR A FAMILY.

THE PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE USED TO SUPPORT FUTURE DOMESTIC ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND , TO KEEP COMMUNITY AWARENESS CONCERNING THE NEED TO STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Where: Stephenson Island, Marinette, WI

Lunch: $4 adults, $3 children, maximum $12 for a family. This includes, hot dog, popcorn and beverage, picnic blanket and 2 activity tickets per child.
